28 июня в Liberty cafe в Лиссабоне состоится презентация комиксов политзаключенной художницы и музыкантши Саши Скочиленко. На презентации выступит координатор издания этих книг, психолог и писательница Маша Пушкина. Она расскажет о неординарной истории создания и публикации комиксов и ответит на вопросы о ментальных расстройствах. Пока Сашу держат в СИЗО по обвинению в распространении «фейков о российской армии», ее друзья издали три комикса художницы — «Книгу о депрессии», «Заметки о депрессии» и «Что такое мания?». Комиксы о психических проблемах Саша рисует с 2014 года, но издать ее работы в полном объеме удалось лишь в этом году благодаря краудфандингу.

«Это комикс, который в простой и понятной форме рассказывает о том, что переживает человек, находящийся в депрессии, на примере девушки по имени Саша. Саша — это я. Однажды мне надоело объяснять каждому из друзей по отдельности одно и то же, и я решила выложить этот комикс в соцсети. За считанные дни публикация стала вирусной. Десятки тысяч людей узнали в Саше себя».

Уже будучи в СИЗО, Саша Скочиленко нарисовала новую обложку для «Книги о депрессии» с изображением тюремной решетки и написала послесловие. Выпускающим редактором выступил друг Саши Алексей Белозеров, а координатором проекта – писательница Маша Пушкина. Книги можно будет приобрести на презентации, а также заказать у издателя с доставкой по почте. Деньги, вырученные от продажи комиксов, пойдут на оплату работы адвокатов, судебных экспертов, врачей, на продукты для Саши и корм для ее кошек.

Сашу Скочиленко задержали 11 апреля 2022 года в Санкт-Петербурге за то, что она поменяла пять ценников в супермаркете «Перекресток» на похожие на ценники антивоенные листовки. По доносу посетительницы магазина на Сашу завели уголовное дело по статье 207.3 УК РФ «Публичное распространение заведомо ложной информации об использовании Вооруженных Сил Российской Федерации, исполнении государственными органами Российской Федерации своих полномочий».

On June 28, Liberty cafe in Lisbon will host a presentation of comics by political prisoner artist and musician Sasha Skochilenko. The coordinator of the publication of these books, psychologist and writer Masha Pushkina will speak at the presentation. She will talk about the extraordinary history of the creation and publication of comics and answer questions about mental disorders. While Sasha is being held in a pre-trial detention center on charges of spreading “fake stories about the Russian army”, her friends published three comics by the artist – “The Book of Depression”, “Notes on Depression” and “What is Mania?”. Sasha has been drawing comics about mental problems since 2014, but her work was published in full only this year thanks to crowdfunding.

“This is a comic that tells in a simple and understandable way what a person who is depressed is going through, using the example of a girl named Sasha. Sasha is me. One day I got tired of explaining the same thing to each of my friends individually, and I decided to post this comic on the social network. Within days, the post went viral. Tens of thousands of people recognized themselves in Sasha.”

Already in jail, Sasha Skochilenko drew a new cover for The Book of Depression with a picture of prison bars and wrote an afterword. Alexei Belozerov, Sasha’s friend, was the editor-in-chief, and the writer Masha Pushkina was the coordinator of the project. Books can be purchased at the presentation, as well as ordered from the publisher with delivery by mail. The proceeds from the sale of the comics will be used to pay for the work of lawyers, forensic experts, doctors, food for Sasha and food for her cats.

Sasha Skochilenko was detained on April 11, 2022 in St. Petersburg for changing five price tags in the Perekrestok supermarket for anti-war leaflets that looked like price tags. On the denunciation of a store visitor, Sasha was charged with criminal proceedings under Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the exercise by state bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers.”
