Arian Mortazavi Sarrafan invites you to an intimate evening of Persian story.
Step into an ancient world of curiosity, wisdom, and beauty, hearing an improvised re-telling of Attar’s historic Conference of the Birds (Simorgh).
The story is accompanied by a mystical sonic ensemble of ancient Persian and West Asian sounds, with the journey of the Conference of the Birds travelling on the waves and echoes of old melodies and songs.
The story is narrated and musically accompanied by one man – Arian.
About the Musician~Storyteller:
Arian Mortazavi Sarrafan is an Artist born in London to a beautiful family of Iranian & Azerbaijani descent. Being deeply connected to his heritage and family’s rich cultural roots from a young age, Arian found great meaning and fascination in dedicating his time on this planet to discovering, preserving, and contributing to the profound heritage of the cultures he is from, after a series of deep and impactful spiritual experiences in his mid-twenties.
