Kenya Gichathaini – Filter

More than 600,000 Kenyans, 60% of whom are smallholders who are members of cooperatives, produce coffee in the prestigious Nyeri region. Gichathaini Wash Station, affiliated with the Gikanda Cooperative Society, promotes sustainable agricultural practices, improves farmers’ livelihoods and holds certifications such as Rainforest Alliance, Organic, Fair trade and Quality Assurance.
